| The north end of Black Lake and the Oswegatchie River above and below the hydroeletric dam in Heuvelton offer as fine a fishing outing as more popular areas. Boat launchs are available downriver of the dam in Heuvelton and at Eel Weir state Park. Canoe access is possible above the dam where the river runs alongside the Rensselaer Falls Road. (County Route 15) |
