Small car top boat access from a spur road off State Route 812 is available to Sylvia Lake. Annual rainbow trout stockings at Sylvia Lake number 3,000. Because 75% of the lake has private development, most anglers prefer to fish here during the quiet times of spring and fall. Ice out in spring is earlier than other mountain lakes because of it's lower elevation. Trolling flutter spoons, stickbaits, and minnow-imitation flies are the favorite techniques. |
