Eyelash Cup Mushroom Growing on an old stump at Stone Valley, Colton, NY. - Aug. 16, 2008. Figures I focused on the unusual growth instead of the typical 'cup' growth. This mushroom gets it's common name from the 'lashes' that grow on the edge. They really do look like eyelashes.
