Blanket Flower
Gaillardia 'Burgundy' Requirements: Soil Type - Well drained
Characteristics: Too tell the truth I forgot. I just found the photos and it was lucky there was one of the tag. I could identify the flower but the characteristic information was on the other side. It's been a couple of years and I'm overdue a visit to this garden.
All I can recall is the photos were from the same year as the planting and the bloom time was 'Summer'. The yellow flowers are Coreopsis verticillata 'Zagreb' which makes me think the photo was taken mid to late June. I also recall this was a 'early' garden. It had full sun and very well drained sandy soil. |
